The Challenge
Design the complete visual and experiential world for the official launch of the Bahamas National Health Strategy 2026 -2030. A government event of national significance demanding a brand that could carry the weight of a five year plan while making every person in the room feel the possibility of what was being announced.

A Nation Charting Its Course

On December 8, 2025, the Ministry of Health and Wellness of the Bahamas gathered stakeholders, officials, and health professionals at Baha Mar Convention Center to unveil the National Health Strategy 2026 2030. An eight pillar plan designed to protect, restore, and promote the health of every Bahamian for the next five years. The last strategy of this kind was developed in 2010. This was not just a document launch. It was a national moment. The brief was to create a complete visual and experiential world for that moment. Every surface, every screen, every printed page, every motion graphic unified under a single visual language that made the strategy feel as significant as it was.

The Ribbon of Hope

The central visual motif of the entire campaign was the ribbon.

A flowing ribbon weaving through the Bahamas representing the National Health Strategy bringing health back into the heart of the country. Each colored ribbon symbolized a different health initiative or awareness area from the eight pillar plan, coming together in a single unified healing wave.

It was not just a design element. It was a visual metaphor for national unity, hope, and forward momentum. Bahamians know the ribbon. It means something. Threading it through the city skyline made the strategy feel like it belonged to the people, not just the government.

From Page to Stage

The visual identity extended across every touchpoint of the event. The strategy book cover and internal design. Printed invitations. Event programs. Motion graphics and name cards playing on screens throughout the venue. An animated version of the event logo. A custom designed arch framing the stage. LED screen graphics and visual transitions. Directional signage and environmental design throughout the space.

Beyond design, the role extended to full technical production direction. Lighting selection, color temperature decisions, screen placement, run of show creation, and real time technical oversight on the night. Every visual moment was considered, sequenced, and executed with intention.

A 3D render of the full venue was produced in advance showing the complete spatial design before a single piece of equipment was installed. That render became the production blueprint that guided every setup decision on the day.

The Documentary

The event was captured in a short documentary a behind the scenes look at the full production from concept to execution. The making of a national moment, told through the lens of the creative process behind it.

The Outcome

A national government launch executed at a level the Bahamas had not seen before. A strategy document designed to be read and felt. An event environment engineered to move people emotionally before moving them intellectually. A visual language that gave a five year national health plan the presence it deserved.

This is what happens when design is treated as strategy rather than decoration.

"The brief was simple. Make people believe in what is being announced before it is announced. Design that gets out of the way and lets the moment land."
